My name is Alison and I decided to set up See My Travels as a way of writing about my greatest passion – travel.

This website aims to inform and entertain, with both travel tales and honest articles on the places I visit.

What are the plans?

I am currently travelling solo in Canada. After years of thinking and dreaming about travelling, I finally decided to just go for it.

So I booked my flight to Vancouver and arrived here in May.

A bit about me…

I hail from Liverpool, England, a city famed for its music, beautiful architecture and stunning waterfront. I have more recently lived in Lincoln, a charming cathedral city brimming with character and historical intrigue.

I am in my late 20s and have worked as a journalist for the past five years, writing for newspapers and magazines.

Where have I been?

I have travelled in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia and hope to see as much of the world as possible in the coming years.
