Rococo Coffee House, Liverpool

Rococo Coffee House, LiverpoolWith delicious own-brand coffee, scrumptious homemade cakes and stylish comfortable surroundings, the Rococo Coffee House is one of my favourite spots to relax in Liverpool. Besides the great menu, the biggest draw is the opulent Renaissance-inspired furnishings featuring plush velvet and beautiful baroque prints.

This is mixed in with leather seating, exposed brick walls and rustic tables for an overall rich eclectic finish. In contrast, the lighting is ultra modern to add contemporary appeal as well. Even the cups have a cool personalised design.

This coffee shop is split into three sections. Firstly there are couches and tables close to where the serving counter is, then there is a gorgeous corridor decorated with chandeliers leading to a smaller room and a larger area right at the end.

To give you a general feel for the place, here are a few photographs. By the way, even though there is a Christmas holly decoration on the coffee cake, this was mid January. Another tasty one to try is the pistachio cake and they do fabulous chai lattes.

It’s one of the great aspects of living in a major city, there are usually lots of great coffee shops. Still lots more to try out :-)
