Caribbean Snapshot: Grand Anse Beach In Grenada

We were solely set on getting some Caribbean sea, sun and sand in Grenada. So we headed to Grand Anse Beach – a stunning two-mile stretch of white sand and sparkling blue water. Grand Anse has appeared in many ‘best beaches in the world’ lists and it’s not difficult to see why. We spent the morning relaxing under a palm tree and swimming around in the clear-blue Caribbean Sea. It was bliss!

Have you been to Grand Anse in Grenada? Where’s the nicest beach you’ve ever visited?

We loved Grenada but didn’t go to the beach. We went to the nutmeg factory instead which was wonderful. We’ve been to many great beaches. The beach at Alicante, Spain is great but so are many others in Spain and Mexico.

I didn’t know until arriving that Grenada is know as the ‘island of spice’ so it’s cool you got to visit the nutmeg factory. There was a little spice market behind the beach and my sister got a little basket of spices.
