Mount Royal is a hill in Montreal that you can hike up to get great views over the city. It is located in the Parc du Mont-Royal (or Mount Royal Park in English).
The walk is quite moderate and takes around an hour at a steady pace. You can see for miles from the peak and it’s a nice spot to sit and relax for a while before heading back down to ground level to seek out some Montreal street art.

It was March when I was there and there was still some snow on the ground. It was very pretty. I do love Montreal and would like to return with Paul one day.
I bet it looked so different in the snow. I would’ve liked to have seen Canada in the winter!
Great shot. This looks a lot like the view of Mexico City from the Chapultepec Castle (minus the sea).

It’s a fantastic place with a lot of fascinating history behind it. And the view of the forest and the city is absolutely breathtaking. Wish you get to go there eventually. I only visited for the first time a few months ago.
