Seattle’s waterfront was a pleasant surprise. Instead of the not too pretty, industrialised setting I imagined, it was actually extremely attractive.
After spending plenty of time pounding the hilly streets, wandering amongst skyscrapers and trying unsuccessfully not to be a law-breaking jaywalker, it was a refreshing break getting in touch with Seattle’s softer side.
Just take a look at these lovely scenes I captured on my waterfront walk…
A peaceful ocean view.
A yacht reflecting serenely in the water.
A very natural looking man-made beach.
A distinctive piece at the Olympic Sculpture Park.
A boat returning to harbour.
Canadian geese and ships in the background.
The building of the ‘London Eye of Seattle’ was in progress when I visited back in June.
Downtown seen from the waterfront.
The cruise liner terminal.
The waterfront view over Pike Place Market.
Some flowery settings.
Have you ever visited Seattle’s waterfront?

I love Seattle’s waterfront!
It’s gorgeous isn’t it? Especially when it’s nice weather.
