Colourful Photos From My Travels

Here are some of my most ‘colourful’ travel photos, in line with this week’s #frifotos theme…

The Louvre Museum in Paris is filled with so many interesting artefacts. But my favourite part was looking up at the gorgeous colourful ceilings.

A colourful paella I enjoyed in Newquay, Cornwall. It tasted as good as it looks!

One of Liverpool’s colourful superlambbananas. These creations began popping up across the city when Liverpool was named as the European Capital of Culture 2008.  They are mini replicas of the city’s original Super Lamb Banana sculpture.

Surf boards on Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall – known as the surfing capital of the UK.

These colourful paintings of The Beatles adorn a window of a pub in Mathew Street, Liverpool.

Colourful tartan at a kilt mill in Edinburgh.

On a snowy day in Lincoln, everything was blanketed with white. But there was this red rose that looked so colourful against the contrasting ground.

This colourful photo was taken at a Morroccan handicraft market in Lincoln.

Autumn leaves come with an explosion of colour. These leaves in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, stood out and almost looked illuminated.

A delicious dessert I had in Newquay, Cornwall, which came straight after the paella shown earlier in this post. Even that lovely flower was edible.

Las Vegas is brimming with lights and colour. This photo was captured during the Show in the Sky at the Rio All-Suite Hotel. This features a flurry of floats with dancers thay circle the ceiling at regular intervals.

A colourful and extremely tasty cupcake from a cute little cafe in East Didsbury, Manchester, along with an adorable pink tea cosy (below).

Ha ha, they are gorgeous. I was more interested in ceilings than many of the exhibits!
