The Isle of Man Part 2: Beautiful Sunset at Port Erin

Sunsets are generally stunning. That moment at the end of a day when the curtains of darkness are drawn and the sun slides away in an impressive explosion of colour. My favourite sunset moment of all time was at Port Erin in the Isle of Man.

It was around 9pm on a cool summer’s night. The sky was clear and the stark cliffs of Bradda Head, topped by the mysterious Milner’s Tower, could be seen in the distance. In the forefront the colours of the sky were reflected in a coat of water covering Port Erin beach.
